The day we thought would never arrive, the day that has been years in the making; Graduation! The years of rolling into early-morning lectures after working the night shift; the mild caffine addiction in the library; and of course the thousands of pounds in debt has finally paid off.
The venue was Wembley Stadium (what a location, aye!!?). Hearing from past graduates, I was expecting the day to be full off stress, however from the journey there, the causal queueing, picking up the hat and cape, everything just went like clockwork – slightly nerve-racking to say the least though..
A cheeky grin before we sat down for the ceremony to begin.
A quick snap with Dad was very much called for, over-looking Wembley Stadium with a glass of champs – feeling very proud and slightly buzzed.
The day then proceeded onto a fancy lunch date at Two Twenty Two at the Landmark Hotel.
A quick tour around the main hotel lobby, before entering the main restaurant entrance.
It was a lovely restaurant, and beautiful hotel – Dad knowing the General Manager and Food & Beverage Manager came with a few celebratory perks!!
To continue, it only seemed fitting to start our newly graduated lives in style – in Savoy Style with Afternoon Tea. Sandwiches, scones, cakes, and pastries galore. One was well and truly stuffed and a diet is very much on the agenda.
I’m sure you remember that feeling of graduation – Joy, excitement, relief, petrified of what’s around the corner.. Let’s see what the future has to offer.
One is most delighted to hear you have returned to UK soil, we must rendezvous ASAP.
With Kind Regards,
